Under NFPA 10, someone on your staff does a quick visual check every month, and a trained technician does the full inspection once every 12 months. Most dry chemical units also need internal maintenance every 6 years and a hydrostatic test every 12 years; CO2 and water units are hydrotested every 5 years. We track those dates for you and print the next one on the tag.

After any use, even a short test spray, and whenever the gauge reads low or high. An extinguisher that has lost pressure will not discharge properly. We recharge on site with the correct agent and re-tag the unit on the same visit.
